Regain Independence. Regain Respect.
Recover Your Life.
Steps House has opened its doors to thousands of men who sought refuge from the devastation caused by the disease of addiction and the ravages of homelessness.
We offer a residential support program for men dealing with drug or alcohol addiction issues. Our program is designed to break the cycle of homelessness by providing a highly structured course of recovery through building life skills, discipline, and responsibility.
Residents work to get better, but in an environment that provides compassion, respect, and professional support.
Our program proves people can change their lives if they have the willingness to do what it takes to be clean, sober, and independent. It is based on a three-phase process through which residents must pass to achieve the following:
- Financial independence
- Legal freedom
We guide residents through this program. Some choose to stay long-term in independent living after a successful recovery for additional support, and they become contributors who help others. Our residents stay with us for as long as they need help.
To be eligible for our program, an individual must be 18 or older, be able to work full-time and/or assume financial responsibility, and be free of alcohol or mood-altering substances. All residents are screened by our staff before being admitted to the program.
